8:45 AM Club Triples Tournament

SPLBC  Gender Neutral Triples Tournament

Saturday September 16th from 8:45 - 4:00 PM

Cost: $5.00 per person payable on game day

Team Composition:  3 bowlers of any sex – completely your choice.

No Team shall have more than one red tagged member.  A team with a red tagged member can not have any more than one blue tagged member.

Acceptable combinations include: Red/Blue/Clear, Red/Clear/Clear, Blue/Blue/Clear, Clear/Clear/Clear.  Sign up as a team or as an individual to be placed on a team.

The Sign up sheet has been posted on top of the trophy case at the club house.

  

Tournament Format: Each team will play 4 - 10 end games. The first and third games will be 3 bowl Triples, the second and fourth game will be 2 bowl triples.  3 bowl games will be limited to 100 minutes while 2 bowl games will be limited to 75 mins. 

It will be each team’s responsibility to ensure they are keeping up with the pace of play, it is the skips responsibility to talk to your team members if they are not keeping up.  Additional conditions of play will be announced prior to the start of the first game including burnt ends and last jack rules.

 Schedule:

8:45 – 9:15 – Team Registration and Announcements

9:15 – 9:30 – Practice Ends - each player throws two bowls in each direction.

9:30 – 11:10 – Game 1 – 3 bowl triples

11:15 – 12:30 – Game 2 – 2 bowl triples

12:30 -1:00 – Lunch – Remember to pack your lunch in a cooler – there is no room in the fridge 

1:00 – 2:40 – Game 3 – 3 bowl triples

2:45 – 4:00 – Game 4 – 2 bowl triples

Scoring: Win = 3 points.   Tie = 1 point. Scoring format will be full scores.  If a bye is necessary Teams will be awarded 3 points and the average winning and losing scores of games played in that round.   

Tiebreakers If teams are tied with "shots for" then shots against will count.
